East Linton Carers Support Group
Kathleen Jack and Anne Stewart run the East
Linton Carers’ Group, which is part of the vibrant and
developing Carers of East Lothian. This friendly, informal
group welcomes carers of any age who need support,
information and direction to help them in their caring
role. Many people who spend time looking after someone else
don’t realise that they have entitlements and rights – East
Linton Carers can help with form filling, community care
referrals, respite care and even free IT training.
Meets 1st Thursday of every month
at 10.30am in the Lynton Centre.

Lothian on 0131 665 0135, or Anne Stewart on 01620 860645

Lynton Centre
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Lynton
Centre, next to East Linton’s Library, is a regular social
hub for older people. They often walk down, drop in for a
coffee or meet friends for lunch (pre-booking definitely
required!), and perhaps stay for afternoon activities, which
can range from dominoes or mobile cinema to violin recitals.
If you think that you would enjoy these
activities, then you are welcome to drop in for a coffee and
a chat on a Mon/Wed/Friday morning.
Open Mon/Wed/Fri 9am -4pm. All enquiries
please contact Kate or Steph on 01620 860694.
