X6 Limited Stop Service Daily Dunbar, West Barns, East Linton, Haddington, from Haddington it proceeds along the bypass until its next stop at Asda, then Niddry X Roads, Meadowbank, Cadzow Place, London Road, St Andrew Square, Princes Street, Shandwick Place (West End) then terminates at Haymarket. The return journey is a reversal of the inward journey. BUSES
East Linton is easily reached by bus from Edinburgh, Haddington, Dunbar, North Berwick and Berwick upon Tweed, as follows:-

6 Service, Evenings and Sundays. In the evenings and weekends the service is run as a route 6 between Dunbar and Edinburgh. This is a normal stopping service and goes via the old 106 or 44D route. The route is as follows. Dunbar, West barns, East Linton, Haddington, Macmerry, Tranent, Wallyford, Musselburgh, Milton Road, Duddingston, Meadowbank, Cadzow Place, London Road, St Andrews Square, Princes Street, Shandwick Place (West End), Haymarket. Also note that on a Sunday the service to Edinburgh terminates at St Andrew Square,

TRAINS
The nearest train station to East Linton is at Drem, which is approx 10 minutes’ drive from the village. The Edinburgh to Drem train service takes 23 minutes and is operated by First Scotrail. However, please note that there is no direct bus service between Drem and East Linton.
Dunbar train station is approx 15 minutes’ drive from East Linton and is also well served by buses. Edinburgh to Dunbar trains take approx 25 minutes and are operated by National Express East Coast and Cross Country.
From Dunbar, National Express East Coast operate trains to London Kings Cross which take 4 hours 27 mins.
